
The Penn Manor Marching Unit is the largest and most visible ensemble of the Penn Manor Band program. The PMMU performs at PA Marching Band Coalition and many community events and parades.

Great Scott! The Penn Manor Marching Unit is about to take you back to the future with our 2026 production, “OUTATIME!” Get ready to hop in a DeLoreon and hit 88 miles per hour as we travel through a musical journey back in time. Our show includes music from The Back to the Future Theme by Alan Silvestri, Johnny B Goode by Chuck Berry, Earth Angel by The Penguins, and finally The Power of Love by Hewy Lewis and the News. So buckle in and prepare yourself for 1.21 Gigawatts of sound as we take you Back to the Future!

The Penn Manor Marching Unit allows students their first experience in an ensemble and installs the fundamentals of the “Comet Way”.
Any student can be a part of the PMMU and EVERYONE finds a place to take part. There are no auditions. The ensemble meets from mid-May to mid-November each year. Marching Unit rehearsals begin in the middle of May.
