The Penn Manor Marching Unit is the largest and most visible ensemble of the Penn Manor Band program. The PMMU performs at the highest level of competition available throughout the state and many community events and parades.
Life offers many paths—some are virtuous, while many are not. Some may spend their entire life searching for the path that lies in front of them. Life is about the journey, not the destination, and it's up to each of us to choose the roads that lead to a better tomorrow.

The Penn Manor Marching Unit allows students their first experience in an ensemble and installs the fundamentals of the “Comet Way”.
Any student can be a part of the PMMU and EVERYONE finds a place to take part. There are no auditions. The ensemble meets from mid-May to mid-November each year. Marching Unit rehearsals begin in the middle of May.
